A calzone is a pizza that decided to keep its toppings to itself. We stretch out the dough, fill it, fold it over, crimp the edge and bake it until the outside goes golden and the inside is molten. At Aldo's it's one of the quietest things on the menu and one of the most ordered — people who grew up on New York corner slices tend to know exactly what they're looking for, and they find it here.

The same dough we hand-toss for the pizzas
Every single pizza here starts with our freshly prepared dough, topped with premium cheeses and our rich, flavorful secret sauce, and baked to crispy perfection. The calzones come off that same line. Nothing arrives pre-formed or frozen in a box — the dough is mixed in-house, worked by hand, and it behaves differently depending on the day, which is the point. A folded calzone needs dough with enough stretch to hold a full load of cheese without splitting at the seam, and that's what hand-tossed dough gives you.
We're a neighborhood pizzeria on Gulf To Bay, and the local following shows it: 4.4 out of 5 stars from . That's the sort of number you only get by making the same thing well for a long time.

Best NY pizza outside of NY!
Calzones $12.99 to $16.99
Calzones run $12.99 through $16.99 depending on size and what goes inside. One is a full meal for most people; two will feed a family with a salad on the table. Because everything is folded and baked to order, give us a few minutes — a calzone can't be rushed out of the oven the way a slice can.
If you'd rather have your fillings on top than inside, the same ingredients are waiting on the pizza side of the menu: Gourmet Pizzas like the Alfredo and the BBQ Chicken at $15.99 through $23.99, white pies like the Broccoli Bianca and the Broadway Veggie at $14.99 through $22.99, plus Sicilian and classic New York-style. Same dough, same sauce, different shape.

Wings, Baked Ziti, salads and cannoli to round it out
A calzone rarely travels alone. Here's what people usually add to the order:
- Buffalo Wings — from $7.99 up to $29.99 for the big party count
- Baked Ziti — $16.99
- Baked Cheese Ravioli — $14.99
- Caesar Salad — $7.99 to $10.99, or the Antipasto Salad at $8.99 to $12.99
- Cannoli — $4.99
- 12″ Cinnamon Pecan Pie — $12.99
- 2-liter bottles $5.00, cans $1.40, bottled water $1.75

Subs and wraps are on the board too — the Buffalo Chicken wrap at $13.99, the BLT & Turkey sub and the Buffalo Chicken sub from $7.99 to $12.99. Salads are made fresh daily with carefully selected premium ingredients, same as everything else.

First time ordering. We did delivery. Amazing pizza. The dough is excellent, perfectly baked. The antipasta was great. The garlic knots were still warm when delivered.
