Start with the garlic knots
Nobody at Aldo's expects you to wait quietly for the pizza. The table gets something first — knots, wings, a salad to split — and then the pie comes out. It's how an Italian meal is supposed to go, and it's how most of our Clearwater regulars order without thinking about it.
The knots come out of the same oven as the pizza, which is why people notice them. One customer who ordered delivery for the first time put it better than we could:
First time ordering. We did delivery. Amazing pizza. The dough is excellent, perfectly baked. The antipasta was great. The garlic knots were still warm when delivered.
Buffalo Wings, from $7.99 to $29.99
Our Buffalo Wings run from $7.99 for a small order up to $29.99 for a party-sized tray, so they work equally well as a starter for two or as the centerpiece of a Sunday afternoon with the game on. Order a smaller count alongside a pizza, or go big and let the wings be the reason people showed up.
If you're feeding a crowd, the large tray plus a couple of pies is the combination we box up most often for pickup.
Calzones, salads and something sweet after
A Calzone ($12.99–$16.99) is the one item on the menu that argues with itself about whether it's an appetizer or a full dinner. Split one four ways as a starter, or take it home whole and call it your meal. Either answer is correct.
On the lighter side, the Antipasto Salad ($8.99–$12.99) and the California Salad ($8.99–$12.99) both come in two sizes — the smaller one shares nicely across a table before the pizza lands. The Caesar Salad is $7.99 to $10.99. All of them are made fresh daily from ingredients we pick ourselves rather than whatever showed up on the truck.
